Aditi Ashok Made History, Wins Ladies European Tour Title

Aditi Ashok made history as a first indian woman winning the Ladies European Tour Title. The 18-year-old girl smiles holding the Hero Women’s Indian Open Trophy.

Aditi led American Brittany Lincicome and spanish Belen Mozo. She finished a total score of three-under 213 to win a prize money of $60000 and ranked Rookie of the year.

Winning this European Tour golf event in Gurgaon Aditi expects more girls to play golf. 

Chowrasia Wins World Manila Masters Golf Meet

Indian golfer Shivshankar Prasad Chowrasia won first Asian Tour Title outside the country on sunday. It was a big challenge to make a good score defeating American Sam Chien and Malaysian Nicholas Fung in the event.

Chowrasia felt quite nervous and was under-pressure during the tour in Manila, Philippines. He won the prize money of $10,000,00 us dollar.

Tsunami Alert, NewZealand Shakes By Heavy Earthquake

During the time of starting monday an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 struck south island of Newzealand. The quake hit Christchurch, Newzealand. 

The capital city wellington also felt this quake, which is quite far away from the quake centre. A severe aftershocks killed two people.

Tsunami arrived just after the quake. Officials warns people to be alert.

World Diabetes Day

14th November is being observed as world diabetes day worldwide. World Health Organisation(WHO) and International Diabetes Federation(IDF) together observes this day as ‘World Diabetes Day’ every year.

A lot of health advisory events are being organised today.

From the year 1999 this day marked as world diabetes day to spread conciousness about diabetes. 

The main aim of these organisatons observing this day is to make aware people about the effect of diabetes and to take precautions to avoid it.

Children’s Day

14th novemver is observed as children’s day every year in india. Today is the birth day of India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru who born on 14th nov, 1989. To commemorate Jawaharlal Nehru’s birth day this day is celebrated as children’s day or ‘Bal Diwas.

Children’s day or Bal Diwas is celebrated to spread awareness of people towards the rights, care and education of children of India.
