According to the official notification the NTPC invites online application from energetic and promising engineering graduates in various disciplines. NTPC has brought this golden opportunity for candidates who have completed degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Instrumentations engineering, Electronics engineering and Mining engineering. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering exam 2018 will be conducted by NTPC to fill up the vacancy for 150 trainee job. NTPC 2018 selection process will be based on obtained marks in GATE 2018 exam, GD(Group Discussion) and Interview.
NTPC Recruitment 2018 ET Job Eligibility
The NTPC will appoint those executive trainees who meets minimum eligibility criteria. Candidates who have passed a full time bachelor’s degree course in electrical/electrical & electronics/electrical instrumentation & control/power systems high voltage/power electronics or power engineering can apply for “Electrical Engineering” discipline.
Candidates having degree in mechanical/production/industrial/production & industrial/thermal/mechanical & automation or power engineering can apply for “Mechanical Engineering”.
For “Instrumentation Engineering” discipline, candidates should have passed degree in electronics & instrumentation or instrumentation & control engineering.
For “Electronics Engineering” a candidate should have passed a degree course in electronics/electronics & telecommunication/electronics & power/power electronics or electronics & communication.
For “Mining Engineering” a candidate should have passed a mining engineering course.
All candidates possessing these academic qualification should have 65% marks in any discipline. Final year/semester students are also eligible but they should obtain minimum 65% marks at the time of application. Scheduled caste and person with disabilities(physically handicapped) should have 55% marks.
Age Limit
Upper age limit is 27 years as of last date of online application for NTPC job 31/01/2018. Age relaxation for OBC candidates are 3 years, for sc 5 years and for physically handicapped 10 years.

Executive Trainee Selection Process 2018
NTPC have some selection procedures to recruit these executive trainees job. At first online applied candidates need to appear in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2018 conducted by Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. GATE previous exam paper, exam date, admit card 2018 can be found at http://gate.iitg.ac.in. All candidates should get a qualifying marks in GATE exam to be successful.
